Littore Family Wines - paisley series - 2008 Tempranillo, $10

If it is great value you are looking for, you can't go past the Littore Family's paisley series. With soft berry fruit flavours, hints of pepper and cinnamon and some dark plum characters on a savoury finish, this red made from a Spanish grape is for drinking, not thinking about. Terrific summer drinking; $10
